  7. MOTIF:   My  name is MOTIF from SILENTS
  8. FRANCE,I'm 24 years old and I'm a coder.

  10. ²TS:  Why have you chosen the AMIGA, was
  11. it your first computer?
  12.  
  13. ¹MOTIF:   I've  met a friend of mine who
  14. wanted to show me the CEBIT90 demo from
  15. DELTA.   I  saw  it,and  the same day I
  16. went  to a shop computer and bought the
  17. AMIGA.    That  happened  in  September
  18. 1990.Before, I had an APPLEII.
  19. ²TS:   What kind of configuration do you
  20. have?

  22. ¹MOTIF:  I just have an A500 with 1 mega
  23. of ram and an external drive.

  25. ²TS:   Why  have you decided to become a
  26. coder?
  27.  
  28. ¹MOTIF:  Well, why a coder?  As a matter
  29. of  fact,  I've  tried to be a musician
  30. but  it  was  not very nice...I've also
  31. tried gfx but it was worse...

  33. ²TS:   Why  have  you  decided  to  join
  34. SILENTS?

  37. ¹MOTIF:   Why  SILENTS?   I've met RONAN
  38. (he  has made the ICE demo, placed  3th
  39. at  the  CRYPTOBURNERS  demo  party two
  40. weeks  ago).   We  have talked.  He was
  41. leaving  CONQUEST  with  some  friends.
  42. So,  we  decided to create ART PARTNERS
  43. and  now  we  are  belonging to SILENTS
  44. FRANCE.

  46. ²TS:   Can  you  give us more precisions
  47. about your group?

  49. ¹MOTIF:   Well,if you wants more details
  50. about  SILENTS  you ought to ask FOLLOW
  51. ME.  He's the leader of SILENTS FRANCE.
  52. As  a  consequence, he's the one who is
  53. in touch with the foreign divisions.

  55. ²TS:   Can  you  tell us your three best
  56. groups?
  57.  
  58. ¹MOTIF:   CRYPTOBURNERS,  PHENOMENA, and
  59. PURE METAL CODERS.

  61. ²TS:   According  to  you,  what are the
  62. ingredients to make a good demo?
  63.  
  64. ¹MOTIF:   A  good demo, it's nice gfx, a
  65. good   music,   a  good  coding,a  good
  66. design, and some innovation.  I know it
  67. seems  to  be  a  lot of things, but it
  68. does exist.

  70. ²TS:   Is  your  group  working  on  new
  71. productions   (for   example   for  the
  72. CYCLONE demo party)?
  73. ¹MOTIF:  Yes.At the present time, we are
  74. working  on 2 or 3 demos.  Maybe one of
  75. them will be for the CYCLONE party, but
  76. that'll  depend  if we have enough time
  77. to finish it and if we can realise what
  78. we want to.

  80. ²TS:   What  do  you  think  about  demo
  81. parties?

  83. ¹MOTIF:  Well...In FRANCE, excepting the
  84. CYCLONE and the IRIS demo parties which
  85. are  quite  good, the others are...  On
  86. the contrary, in foreign countries it's
  87. great!   But they all speak german...or
  88. english (that case is less serious).

  91. ²TS:   What  do  you think about the APP
  92. (it   is   the   Association   for  the
  93. Protection  of  the Programs, a kind of
  94. police against pirates)?
  95.  
  96. ¹MOTIF:  Well, a guy who's racking one's
  97. brain  to  create  a  software wants to
  98. sell  it.So,  it  is  OK.   But the APP
  99. doesn't  make  an  attack  on  the real
  100. crackers.   Alas,  it's  because of the
  101. government...

  103. ²TS:   What do you think about the AMIGA
  104. scene in FRANCE?
  105.  
  106. ¹MOTIF:  The AMIGA scene in FRANCE?  The
  107. mentality is not great.

  109. ²TS: What is your favourite game?

  111. ¹MOTIF:    I  don't  like  games,  maybe
  112. except the great Giance Sisters.

  114. ²TS: What is your favourite util?

  116. ¹MOTIF: DEVPAC, he!He!

  118. ²TS:   Have you an advice to give to the
  119. AMIGA owners?

  121. ¹MOTIF:   Hmm...Well...Why not trying to
  122. create something with your AMIGA rather
  123. than playing with it?

  125. ²TS:  According to you, who are the most
  126. beautiful girls in the world?
  127. ¹MOTIF:   Cindy  CRAWFORD, Mathilda MAY,
  128. and Ornella MUTTI.

  130. ²TS:   A  really good choice...So, may I
  131. ask  you  what  you think about blonde,
  132. dark-haired, or red women?

  136. ²TS: What do you think about MAJIC 12?

  138. ¹MOTIF:   I've  seen  2  or  3  of their
  139. production.  They seems to be cool.
